US Presidential Election 2024: US Presidential Election 2024: Kamala Harris has the ‘keys’ to the White House, according to this American Nostradamus who has correctly predicted the results since 1984
Professor Allan Lichtman who has correctly predicted the result of all presidential elections since 1984 with the exception of one result has evolved a system of questions called the “keys approach”. Presently, Kamala Harris is all set to receive the Democratic party’s presidential nomination.
Keys approach:
The Key to the White House has 13 questions whose answers are true or false. Each question assesses the answer on the true or false basis. Every answer in which the answer is true receives a key and if false, a competitor receives the key. For a candidate to win the election, they have to receive six keys.
The 13 keys are the following: party mandate, contest, incumbency, third party, short-term economy, long-term economy, policy change, social unrest, scandal, foreign/military failure, foreign/military success, incumbent charisma and challenger charisma.

Current situation:
The Democrats who are likely to appoint Harris as their presidential nominee hold six keys. They are holding the key in six keys including primary contest, short-term economy, long term economy, policy change, no scandal and no challenger charisma.
The Republicans hold three keys: winning the House majority in the 2022 mid-terms, the current incumbent not seeking re-election and the current incumbent lacking charisma.

There are four more keys to be handed out and the Democrats may lose the election if they lose another three keys. The final prediction will be made later. It has not been made yet.
Allan Lichtman:
Since 1984, the professor has been predicting the results of the US Presidential elections. Most recently, he had predicted the victory of Donald Trump in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020.
