Communal living property brand Folk Co-living offered renters a month’s free rent when signing a 12 month lease before the end of July.

The offer was available at Folk’s Sunday Mills and The Palm House co-living developments in London. Renters had the choice to settle into either of the award-winning properties.

The Sunday Mills co-living scheme

Sunday Mills comprises studio apartments and spacious shared spaces, including a co-working hub, fully fitted gym and a rooftop with 360º panoramic views of London’s skyline. For on-site activities, residents can attend the Box and Burn fitness class, How to Understand: Cryptocurrency class, Cocktail Making Masterclass and the Community Artwork Project.

Situated along the River Wandle in Earlsfield, Southwest London, Sunday Mills is a six-minute walk from Earlsfield Station. Staying local to the scheme provides residents with river walks and nearby pubs. However, in just 15 minutes, residents can enjoy the city offerings of Central London.

At the 2024 RIBA Awards, Sunday Mills by Folk was recognised for its architecture, winning the prestigious award in May. It was noted that the space brings to life a welcoming and inclusive feeling while drawing upon the surrounding natural elements, including greenery and the nearby river to create a calm and relaxing environment.

The Palm House co-living scheme

Spaced out across eight floors, The Palm House in Harrow contains over 200 private studios and a collection of shared spaces, including a huge co-working hub, gym, cinema, games room, lounge, cafe and roof terrace. On-site activities include Rooftop Pilates, a Blockchain 101 class, Friday Drinks and Community Litter Picking.

Just a three-minute walk to Harrow and Wealdstone Station, a 12 minute train ride from Euston and a 25 minute walk to Harrow-on-the-Hill, residents can also reach Central London in 20 minutes.

The Palm House by Folk was also voted ‘Best place to live in North London’ as well as ‘Top Co-Living Community in the UK‘.

Both developments offer residents an onsite café, bar, cinema and roof terrace, a 24/7 team on hand to help, and a resident mobile app. There are also no deposit or admin fees.
