Unlike banks and the post office, The New York Stock Exchange will be open on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024.
Is Nasdaq open on Columbus Day?
Nasdaq will also be open on Monday. Nasdaq will not be closed again until Thanksgiving 2024.
Will bond markets be open on Columbus Day?
Unlike stock markets, bond markets will remain closed on Monday for Columbus Day.
This is because the U.S. Treasury is an arm of the federal government, and the federal government is closed on Columbus Day.
