In the amount of 155 billion euros.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced record investments totalling 155 billion euros, most of which will be spent on the country’s security. Tusk made the announcement at the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Monday, 10 February.
Tusk specified that he also wants to attract foreign investors. He said he is at the stage of ‘advanced’ negotiations with major US technology companies – Google, Amazon, IBM and Microsoft.
‘In the coming days, I will receive the heads of Microsoft and Google as my guests in Poland and we will finalise their investment plans,’ he stressed.
The aim is to outflank Western EU partners ‘who until recently sometimes looked a bit down on us economically,’ Tusk added.
