The housebuilder has submitted proposals to redevelop an 18-acre site of South Lane.
Known as Aspen Brook, Bloor Homes’ scheme would see the delivery of 185 homes north-east of Widnes.
The homes would be a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties, with the majority providing three bedrooms. The development would be accessed via three entry points from South Lane.
Stantec is advising on planning and Bloor has designed the scheme in-house.
The site was previously designated as Green Belt but was released for redevelopment in 2022 when Halton Council adopted its local plan.
Aspen Brook now forms part of a wider residential allocation that encompasses sites where Redrow and Prospect Homes have permission for almost 600 houses.
