Currently trading from 120 UK stores, Jollyes has opened new stores in Blackpool, Ponders End, Hartlepool and Whitehaven so far this year. The brand is set to open stores in Lincoln, Kidderminster and Yeovil over the next two months as well as a new store in Derby this summer.

Jollyes said it could open up to a further 25 store locations this year and has identified more than 160 towns or cities it would like to open stores in over the next five years. Locations of interest are Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leicester, Liverpool, Nottingham and Manchester as well as within the M25 around London. The brand’s property team is looking for spaces of between 3,000 sq ft and 7,000 sq ft on retail parks and prominent roadside locations.

The search is being managed by Edgerley Simpson Howe in England and Wales and Savills in Scotland.

Warren Bester, property director at Jollyes Pet, said: “Wherever we open a store, we become the location of choice for pet parents in the community who value our combination of low prices and brilliant service from colleagues with real expertise in pet care.”

Over the past three years, Jollyes has almost doubled its number of stores across the UK.
