Camden is the third most expensive area to buy a property in the UK despite this month’s dip in prices, with only Kensington and Chelsea, and City of Westminster costing more on average.
The latest data from the government department reveals that in November 2023 average house prices in Camden reached £830,349.
This was down from £839,617 in October, representing a 1.1 per cent decrease. In the last 12 months it has fallen by -1.7 per cent.

- Semi-detached houses – Down to £2,100,006 from £2,179,547 in October
- Terraced houses – Down to £1,389,830 from £1,422,854 in October
- Flats – Down to £735,481 from £740,411 in October
Despite the fall in prices this month, Camden is still far above the UK average with a typical property value in the nations reaching £284,950 in November.
In cash terms, the average house price in November was £-6,142 lower than a year earlier with house price growth decelerating to -2.1 per cent in November 2023. Prices were down by -0.8 per cent month on month.
