Now that the dust has settled from her divorce, where does Nicole Kidman live? The Oscar-winning actor and her former husband of 19 years, country musician Keith Urban, finalized their split, including the division of their many homes, in January 2026. Before their separation, the Australian American pair accumulated a slew of impressive properties, including their primary residence—a seven-bedroom mansion in Nashville. Kidman, who was born to Australian parents in Hawaii and grew up in Washington, DC, and Sydney, has also resided in New York City and Beverly Hills. “I came here and [have] lived in so many different places, and my work was so transient, so I have seen so much of the United States,” she said in April 2026. I feel so much a part of this country, not through just birth, but through actually existing here.”

These days, Kidman and her teenage daughters, whom she shares with Urban, call Nashville home, she told Variety in a recent interview: “We have our life here. I’ve been part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home.”

That said, the beloved actor has been spending a lot less time hunkered down in Music City compared to last year, when she took a step back from work to focus on her personal life amidst the dissolution of her marriage. “I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell,” Kidman said of the previous year. “Now I’m in a place of saying, ‘2026. Here we go.’ I have Practical Magic with Sandy [Bullock]. I’ll be in full witch mode.” Indeed, the sequel to the fan-favorite 1998 film, in which Bullock and Kidman play sister sorcerers, will hit theaters this September. It’s just one of many opportunities that Kidman’s fans have to see the star on the big and small screens in 2026, including crime drama series Scarpetta, dramedy series Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and the next horror flick by Longlegs director Osgood Perkins.

Aside from traveling for work, the actor is shaking up her routine in other ways. “This year and my next few years are for the adventures,” Kidman told Variety. “I’m at a certain time in my life. I’m going to do the things I’ve always dreamt of doing that are not anything to do with work. Tennessee compound

In 2007, Kidman and Urban shelled out $2.45 million for their first home together, a 36-acre country spread in Franklin, Tennessee, about 25 miles south of downtown Nashville. The property featured a long drive through wooded terrain leading up to the red-brick main house and separate guest cottage. The main house measured 5,086 square feet, with four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and immense windows and skylights throughout. Highlights included a main bedroom suite with a private sitting room, a stone-tile bathroom with a garden tub, and a massive walk-in closet. They listed the home in 2016 and found a buyer two years later, for $2.7 million.

Nashville mansion

The couple’s second Nashville-area property, which they scooped up in 2008, is a much grander abode: a $3.47 million mansion situated in the ritzy gated community of Northumberland. The two-acre spread, known as the Queen of Northumberland, features a 10,925-square-foot main house with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There is a home theater, a 30-foot-long hobby room, and massive common areas ideal for hosting. The landscaped grounds also offer amenities such as a large swimming pool and tennis courts. This is still Kidman’s primary residence.
