Authorities were called to the home of singer and actor Frankie Valli in Los Angeles after an alleged domestic dispute on May 3, People and Entertainment Weekly reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the call was made from the former Four Seasons frontman’s property, claiming a restraining order related to a domestic dispute had been violated, according to People. A 38-year-old man was banging on the door of the house, demanding entry, the news outlet reported, citing police dispatch audio.
Law enforcement, including an LAPD helicopter, arrived and found no evidence of a crime. No injuries were reported, according to Entertainment Weekly.
TMZ was first to report the incident.
“This was a private matter that was resolved before law enforcement arrived,” a representative of the “Jersey Boys” star said in a statement shared with USA TODAY.
USA TODAY has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for additional information.

Frankie Valli previously filed restraining order against oldest son
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is known for a plethora of hit songs from “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” to “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night).” He’s also an actor with roles in films like “And So it Goes” and “Dirty Laundry,” as well as on TV in shows including “Miami Vice,” “Full House” and “The Sopranos.”
He notably created the title theme for 1978’s “Grease.”
The latest dispute comes two years after the beloved crooner was granted a three-year restraining order against his oldest son, Francesco Valli, in April 2024.
The no-contact order required Francesco Valli, 38, to stay at least 100 yards away from Frankie Valli and his property through 2027, according to a judgment filed in a Los Angeles court.
Frankie Valli’s son Emilio Valli, 31, petitioned for a domestic violence restraining order on April 8, 2024, including his father as an additional protected person, following an alleged incident at his home three days earlier. In the filing, Emilio Valli claimed his older brother attempted to break into the property and repeatedly threatened to harm or kill him.
A representative for the singer previously told USA TODAY that the singer was “saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family matters.”
