The Central Bank of Russia adjusted the exchange rates of major currencies against the ruble on Friday, strengthening the national currency against the U.S. dollar and other key international currencies. The bank announced that the ruble’s exchange rate was raised to 73.15 rubles per dollar, as markets continue to monitor Russian monetary policy moves and foreign exchange market volatility.
In a press release, the Central Bank of Russia stated that “the official euro exchange rate was adjusted to 86.28 rubles, while the ruble was strengthened against the Chinese yuan to reach 10.78 rubles, amid ongoing market surveillance of the ruble’s trajectory and global financial shifts.”
