Travellers can visit one particular village that has seen increased attention following the airing of Gordon Ramsay’s Netflix documentary. As the renowned chef shows off his latest London venture, viewers also get a look into his family life and his love for holidays in Cornwall.
The idyllic village of Rock was introduced to viewers by Ramsay as his sanctuary, away from the busy lifestyle of London. However, you don’t need to be a popular TV chef to enjoy the same views and relaxation, thanks to a five-star property located just a stone’s throw away from Rock village.
The coastal retreat of Mordros is just a 10-minute drive away from the village of Rock and is situated in Greenaway, near Daymer Bay. Those who plan to visit can enjoy a heated outdoor pool, a games room, and waterside views, Cornwall Live reports.

The property can hold up to 10 people and welcomes one dog, though additional charges may apply. The five-bedroom property is described on holidaycottages.co.uk as “perfect for sociable stays, with plenty of space to relax and unwind together”.
One reviewer revealed they keep coming back to this property, saying: “We have been four times before and we really like it. The living space and pool create a perfect holiday ambience in all weathers.”
It is important to note the swimming pool is only open from late April until the end of September and your departure time must be before 9.30am on the day your break ends.
