Opening on 10 July, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere comes four years after the debut of Fairmont Windsor Park in Berkshire. The five-star hotel, formerly The Mere Golf Resort & Spa, will feature 116 guest rooms, including 23 luxury suites.
There are also four distinct dining venues, with Gordon Ramsay at The Mere serving as the property’s flagship restaurant.
All-day dining is available at The Club Lounge & Bar, while afternoon tea is served in the light-filled atrium of The Orangery. A dedicated Spa Bar offers a menu of light bites alongside post-treatment smoothies and refreshments.
An expansive spa features seven thermal experiences, including a Finnish barrel sauna, a traditional hammam, a salt room, a tepidarium, three cold plunge pools and a steam room.
Guests can choose from a menu of 20 treatments, all of which have been inspired by clinical 111SKIN facials from Harley Street, botanical massage “rooted in English countryside” and ancient Kama Ayurveda rituals.
Wellness facilities also include a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, an indoor vitality pool, an outdoor heated pool, a state-of-the-art Technogym fitness studio and an 18-hole golf course.
Extensive event spaces include the Grand Ballroom, which can host up to 1,000 guests, and four dedicated boardrooms available for meetings or private dining.
“Fairmont Cheshire The Mere is a place defined by its setting – the lake, the fairways and the sense of space that surrounds it, all of which create a natural feeling of ease and connection,” said Gary Johnson, General Manager, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere.
“We look forward to welcoming guests into this new chapter of the estate, whether they are here for dining, golf or wellbeing, and to see the hotel once again become a place for great company, meaningful occasions and a life well lived.”
