“Large-scale” cannabis factory uncovered at property

A “large-scale” cannabis operation has been uncovered by police.

Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team acted on intelligence from the National Police Air Service regarding a suspicious property.

When officers visited the address, accompanied by the property landlord, they found that the entrance had been “deliberately obstructed,” with doors barricaded from the inside.

Specialist equipment was deployed to forcibly gain access, revealing a large-scale cannabis cultivation setup inside the property.

Police officers have dismantled the operation and confiscated all cannabis plants found inside the property.

A police spokesperson said: “Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team recently acted on intelligence received from our colleagues in NPAS (National Police Air Service) regarding a suspicious property in the area.”

Police then went on to add that if people “have concerns or information about suspected drug activity” then they should contact them via their website.
