Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading with some caution this Wednesday, as the Nifty aims to cement itself above the 24,000 mark. The Nifty Bank like yesterday is under pressure and is down about 70 points, falling to 57,300. Trent, Tech Mahindra and Infosys are the big gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading on a cautious note, with the Nifty moving to hold onto the 24,000 mark with a positive bias, trading about 50 points higher. The Sensex index is up over 200 points, rising towards the 77,000 mark.
The Nifty continues to find hurdles at the 24,000 mark, even as it gained for the third day running, extending its gains from last week’s lows past 800 points.
In the absence of banks, which took a breather on Tuesday, Reliance Industries and IT stocks, both beaten-down names, put their hands up, aiding the Nifty gains, and the bulls would hope that RIL continues to outperform ahead of its AGM.
The Nifty Bank is under pressure; the index is down over 50 points, moving around the 57,700 mark.
The Nifty Bank, the 57,000 – 58,000 range remains. Keep an eye on the oil sensitives, Brigade Enterprises, Vishal Mega Mart, GIC, Nephrocare Health, and on BSE ahead of the NSE DRHP filing.
