Three established property professionals have taken up new roles across the residential sector, signalling continued structural shifts in the industry towards brokerage and franchise models.
Moveli appoints former Hamptons director
Andrew Farmer has joined Moveli after more than 25 years in estate agency, including nearly two decades as a director at Hamptons. Farmer, who specialises in the Kent property market, becomes the latest senior agent to move to the brokerage model.
The appointment reflects a broader trend of experienced agents moving away from traditional high street operations towards self-employed brokerages that offer national branding and technology support alongside independent working arrangements.

Sourced Living expands support team
Lettings franchise network Sourced Living has appointed Nicola Edwards as business development manager following the addition of 16 new franchisees to its network this year. Edwards will support franchisees in developing their businesses and ensuring compliance with operating systems.
Her role includes working with franchisees on acquisitions under the company’s Assisted Acquisition Programme, which supports the purchase of established lettings agencies and property portfolios. The programme provides guidance from identifying opportunities through to completion.

Principle opens Manchester office
Property management firm Principle has opened a Manchester office and appointed Matt Kirk as property director for the North West. Kirk brings approximately 20 years’ experience in residential property management and previously led the expansion of Rendall & Rittner’s Northern operation.
The firm aims to manage more than 5,000 homes across the region by 2028. Kirk said the company has already secured an instruction on Urban Splash’s Albert Mill conversion in central Manchester.
