National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2024 takes place between 5-11 February and is a chance to celebrate apprenticeships across the industry and raise awareness of the many benefits they can offer.
About the Junior Estate Agency Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships can help shape successful careers and build successful businesses. They are a hands-on way to train that can open doors for learners and retain critical talent for employers.
Propertymark Qualifications played a key role in the working group that launched the Junior Estate Agency Apprenticeship Standard which has become a foundation for many estate agency businesses in England.
This apprenticeship is a customer-facing role with responsibilities placed on the apprentice to provide administrative support to secure successful property sales. The standard is set at Level 2 which is the equivalent of five GCSE passes.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are an ideal starting point for younger people entering the industry. They help ensure a higher calibre of entry-level staff while giving the apprentice a real job, enabling them to earn while they learn.
Employing an apprentice
Apprenticeships are an effective way to bring in new starters or develop staff who are new to the sector. By hiring an apprentice, you’ll be providing an opportunity for a budding professional to enter the property sector, receive training and, in most cases, finish with a new career.
Often, young people are not made aware of property as a career option and attending local school careers fairs is a great opportunity to find new apprentices, as well as offering work experience to give an insight into the industry.
Apprenticeships are available for people of all ages, so they are a great option for people looking to switch careers or progress in the sector. Apprentices get to work in a real environment, learning life and business skills whilst earning a qualification.
Propertymark Qualifications
Specialist, regulated property qualifications which you can complete flexibly through distance learning or with additional support with a Propertymark Qualifications recognised centre.
