Ms Mackintosh joined Robertson from Highland Council in 2008 and has since played a key role in delivering several major regeneration and development projects.
Among the schemes currently being delivered are the regeneration masterplan for Atlantic Wharf in Butetown, Cardiff, which includes the 16,500-capacity Cardiff Arena alongside Live Nation, and the multi-agency South Street regeneration project in Elgin.
In her new position, she will oversee the strategic direction of Robertson Property, building on the company’s experience in regeneration, asset management, master planning and property development.
The appointment comes as the business looks to strengthen its role in supporting housing delivery, economic growth and regeneration projects across the UK.
Robertson said its integrated approach, combining expertise in property development, construction and facilities management, enables it to support customers from the earliest planning stages through to long-term operation.
The company believes Ms Mackintosh’s experience of working across both the public and private sectors places her in a strong position to lead future investment and development opportunities.
