Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: The markets are trading on a strong footing, even as the Asian markets move lower. The Nifty is up over 150 points, rising above 24,500. The Nifty Bank is also higher, jumping over 300 points, rising to 57,600. ITC, Shriram Fin and IndiGo are top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: The markets are moving stronger, taking off from where they had left off in the previous week. The Nifty is up 160 points, jumping to 24,500. The Sensex is up over 500 points, rising to 78,600.
The bulls, having ended the week with gains, will now be eyeing two levels on the upside, 24,467, which is the recent swing high, and 24,500, which has been a psychological barrier, before the positional swing high of 24,601 could be retested. The Nifty Bank, though, continues to struggle, with 57,500 continuing to act as a hurdle.
Today will also see the introduction of the new Closing Auction Session (CAS), so trading in stocks with F&O contracts will go on till 3:40 PM. Watch for stocks like Maruti, ITC, Divi’s Laboratories, CDSL, Dixon Tech, Zee Entertainment and more.
