Dubai Real Estate Investments in Completed Projects Jump 52% to Dh111bn in H1 2026 – News and Statistics

Investments in completed real estate projects in Dubai surged by more than half in the first half of 2026, according to data from the Dubai Land Department reported by the state news agency Wam. The total value of these developments reached Dh111 billion ($30.2 billion) in the six months through June, a 52% year-on-year increase from Dh73 billion in the same period of 2025.

The investments were directed into 104 completed projects, up nearly 39% from 75 projects in the first half of the previous year. Residential supply exceeded 24,500 units, a 36% rise. Built-up areas ready for handover increased by almost a quarter to 1.95 million square metres, while the total land area allocated for completed projects more than doubled to about one million square metres. The value of land earmarked for these developments jumped 135% to Dh19.46 billion.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, commented that the significant increase in transaction volumes, project numbers, and investment inflows reflects renewed confidence from the global business community in Dubai’s economic environment. He added that the property sector remains integral to the UAE economy, the Arab world’s second-largest, and continues to attract investors and buyers despite the effects of the Iran war.

The UAE was ranked the world’s leading real estate investment destination, according to Arada‘s new UAE Property Investment Index released in June. Dubai continues to welcome major developments, including the recent awarding of a contract by Dar Global to Gulf Asia Contracting for the podium of the $1 billion Trump International Hotel and Tower. This week, Nakheel began handing over 892 villas and townhouses at the redeveloped Jebel Ali Village near Ibn Battuta Mall.
