A woman tragically died at a house this morning, police have confirmed.
Police officers blocked off Rotton Park Road as they responded to ‘welfare concerns’ shortly after 4am today (Saturday, September 12).
The woman, aged in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time after emergency services arrived.

West Midlands Police is making enquiries, but says her death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

Images from the scene earlier today showed several police vehicles at the scene on flashing blue lights. It’s understood the road has since reopened.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Rotton Park Road shortly after 4am today (September 12) after concerns for the welfare of a woman.
“Officers attended and a woman in her 30s was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing, but the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
