Although many businesses and services, such as banks and the U.S. Postal Service, remain closed for Columbus Day, the stock market is an exception to the rule.

Bond markets, on the other hand, will remain closed.

Is Nasdaq open on Columbus Day?

Nasdaq will also be open on Monday. Nasdaq will not be closed again until Thanksgiving 2026.

Nasdaq will remain open through the holiday and is not scheduled to close again until Thanksgiving 2026.

Will bond markets be open on Columbus Day?

Unlike stock markets, bond markets will remain closed on Monday for Columbus Day.
