Police are investigating ‘reports of weapons in a property’ in North Staffordshire. Firearms officers had gone to an address in Kidsgrove on Wednesday.
Now Staffordshire Police has said its investigation is ongoing. It comes as residents had spotted a number of cops around the Gloucester Road area of the town.
A force spokeswoman said: “We attended an address off Liverpool Road, in the direction of Whitehall Avenue in Kidsgrove, on Wednesday. Firearms officers attended following reports of weapons in a property. Our inquiries are continuing.”
