Abu Dhabi-based 2PointZero is expanding across energy, mining and consumer businesses as it builds a global investment platform.
The newly combined group has more than 50 companies across 85 countries and around 150 billion dirhams in assets. Group CEO Samia Bouazza tells Dan Murphy how 2PointZero focuses on acquiring control of strong, cash-generating businesses and using capital, technology and scale to grow them.
Bouazza also discusses the group’s growing use of artificial intelligence, including AI “co-workers” that account for more than 10% of its workforce. She explains how AI is being used to improve productivity and speed up investment decisions, while 2PointZero continues to invest across energy infrastructure, mining and consumer businesses around the world.
