Horizon3 Expands In Singapore With EDBI And SG Growth Capital Investments

Horizon3 is expanding its presence in Singapore with new investments from EDBI and its parent, SG Growth Capital, as the AI-native cybersecurity company increases its operations across Southeast Asia.

The company is establishing its ASEAN headquarters and a Regional Centre of Excellence in Singapore, which will also support expansion across Australia and Japan. Horizon3 plans to increase its local workforce as it grows sales, customer support, and partner operations throughout the region.

The expansion follows Horizon3’s $250 million Series E funding round announced in August 2026, which valued the company at more than $2 billion.

Horizon3 develops NodeZero, an autonomous security platform designed to continuously identify and validate exploitable attack paths within enterprise environments. Rather than relying primarily on periodic vulnerability assessments, NodeZero autonomously tests defenses, provides remediation guidance, and retests environments to confirm whether vulnerabilities have been addressed.

The company said increasing use of artificial intelligence by cyberattackers is driving demand for continuous security validation. Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency reported that infected infrastructure in the country increased 142% in 2025 to 284,300 systems while warning that AI is allowing threat actors to conduct attacks with greater speed, scale, and sophistication.

Horizon3 plans to use Singapore as a base for expanding across markets including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. The company will target enterprise, mid-market, and public-sector customers while expanding relationships with Managed Security Service Providers, systems integrators, and cloud providers.

The company also intends to collaborate with Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem, including initiatives associated with critical information infrastructure resilience and the use of AI in cybersecurity.

EDBI and SG Growth Capital’s investments add strategic support to Horizon3’s regional expansion. EDBI said it also expects to help the company access talent, partnerships, and market opportunities throughout Southeast Asia.

More than 7,000 organizations currently use Horizon3 technology, including defense organizations, major enterprises, banks, and healthcare providers. The company is positioning the Singapore operation as a regional hub for organizations moving from periodic cybersecurity assessments toward continuous, evidence-based validation of their defenses.

KEY QUOTES:

“Singapore’s regulatory and national cybersecurity agenda signals a broader shift across the region: boards can no longer rely on confidence or compliance checklists; they must be able to prove cyber resilience and prove they are prepared for AI-enabled cyber warfare. Our expansion in Singapore, supported by EDBI and SG Growth Capital, positions Horizon3 at the centre of Southeast Asia’s digital economy, where we can work closely with customers and partners to move from periodic assessments to continuous, attacker-validated proof of resilience. As AI compresses attack timelines from months to hours, the strategic question for security leaders is not how many vulnerabilities they have, but whether they can continuously validate what is actually exploitable and verify that remediation has reduced business risk.”

Snehal Antani, CEO And Co-Founder Of Horizon3

“Horizon3 chose Singapore as our Southeast Asia base because it combines a deep concentration of financial institutions, critical infrastructure operators and regional headquarters with a clear, forward-looking direction on cyber resilience and AI governance. From CSA’s Cyber Landscape 2025/2026 report and Cyber Trust Mark roadmap to MAS’ tightened technology-risk notices, Singapore is setting expectations that security must be measurable, not just documented. This makes it the ideal launchpad for supporting organisations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and beyond as they shift from tick-box compliance to outcomes-based security. We are working with boards and CISOs to demonstrate, with evidence, that their security investments are closing the attack paths that pose the greatest risk to the business.”

Gareth Cox, Vice President, Asia Pacific And Japan At Horizon3

“Horizon3 combines differentiated AI technology with a strong track record of helping enterprises adopt continuous security validation and proactively strengthen their security posture. The establishment of its ASEAN headquarters and Regional Centre of Excellence in Singapore reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the region and will contribute to the growth of Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Beyond our investment, we look forward to supporting Horizon3’s expansion through access to talent, strategic partnerships and market opportunities across Southeast Asia.”
