An application for the development of 135 homes at land North of Swindon Road in Royal Wooton Bassett was recently approved by Wiltshire Council’s Northern Area Planning Committee.
The proposal was brought forward by Gleeson Land, and additionally sought a new vehicular access alongside other associated infrastructure.
There will also be an investment of over £1.57 million into school places, as well as £135,000 for bus services, and £45,000 for improvements at Junction 16 of the M4, sports facilities, and recycling services
The site is outside of Royal Wooton Bassett’s settlement boundary, and will deliver 54 affordable homes, as well as 81 for the open market.
