A woman has been charged after a man in his 50s was found dead at a property in Margate.
Police were called to an address in Millmead Road at around 3pm on Thursday (November 5), following concerns for a person.
Officers attended and found the body of a man. His next of kin has been informed.
Detectives subsequently arrested a woman on suspicion of murder.
Today (Saturday), police said Michelle Brimson, 40, of Millmead Road, has been charged with preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body and fraud by misrepresentation.
They said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are continuing.
Brimson appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday) and was conditionally bailed.
She is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, December 7.
