- Mark Chapman, 50, has reportedly been dating Clere Collier for months
- Ms Collier, 43, now makes regular trips to visit him at his home in Manchester
MOTD2 host Mark Chapman has found love with a Dubai estate agent in his first romance since his beloved wife Sara died of cancer four years ago.
Chapman, 50, has reportedly been dating Clere Collier for months. Ms Collier, 43, is based in Dubai for work but makes regular trips to the UK where she invests in London’s property market.
But now Ms Collier is also making time for trips to see Chapman, where MOTD2 is broadcast, to see Chapman who is from Sale in Greater Manchester.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s early days but Mark and Clere are in a good place and enjoying each other’s company.
‘Mark’s focus has always been his children and work, so a relationship was unexpected.
‘He and Clere are taking things slow and just seeing how it all plays out, but it’s clear to see they are really into each other.’
Chapman was married to wife Sara, with whom he had three children, for 19 years before she sadly died of cancer in June 2020. The MOTD2 host is also a regular presenter on Radio 5 while also fronting Sky Sports’ Carabao Cup coverage.
He became the main host of Match of the Day 2 in August 2013 and joined Radio 5 Live in 2010 to host live sport in the evenings.
Chapman also frequently steps in Match of the Day when host Gary Lineker is not available.
Ms Collier has two children from a previous relationship and she has in the past been linked to former Another Level singer Dane Bowers.
The former boyband star and Ms Collier were dating last year after his relationship with ex-Love Island star Laura Anderson ended.
Ms Collier had been married to her husband James for three years before they split up.
