Iran releases currency exchange rates for August 22


BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The Central Bank
of Iran (CBI) put up an official exchange rate for foreign
currencies on August 22, Trend reports via the CBI.

According to the bank’s currency exchange rate, 43 currency
prices increased, while 2 currency prices dropped compared to
August 21.

As for CBI, $1 equals 412,157 Iranian rials and one euro –
459,290 rials, while on August 21, one euro was 455,732 rials.

The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices,
where one euro costs 546,683 rials and $1 costs 490,582 rials.

NIMA is a scheme for selling a percentage of the foreign money
earned from exports.

The price of one euro in this system amounted to 503,855 rials,
and the price of $1 was 452,149 rials.

On the black market, $1 is worth about 588,000-591,000 rials,
while one euro is about 656,000–659,000 rials.
