
KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 148.07, while the selling rate is Rs 148.67.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 173.44 and the selling rate is Rs 174.14. Similarly, the UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 199.01 (buying) and Rs 199.82 (selling), while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 187.61 (buying) and Rs 188.37 (selling).
Among other currencies, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 104.69 (buying) and Rs 105.11 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 107.03 (buying) and Rs 107.46 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs 116.22 (buying) and Rs 116.69 (selling).
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.30 and the selling rate is Rs 9.34. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 21.68 (buying) and Rs 21.77 (selling), while the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.46 (buying) and Rs 39.62 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.61 (buying) and Rs 40.78 (selling).
Likewise, the Thai baht is Rs 4.61 (buying) and Rs 4.63 (selling), the UAE dirham Rs 40.31 (buying) and Rs 40.47 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit Rs 37.34 (buying) and Rs 37.50 (selling). The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.98 and the selling rate is Rs 10.02.
Similarly, the Swedish kronor is traded at Rs 15.99 (buying) and Rs 16.05 (selling), and the Danish kronor at Rs 23.21 (buying) and Rs 23.30 (selling).
Among Gulf currencies, the Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.90 (buying) and Rs 18.98 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar Rs 483.10 (buying) and Rs 485.06 (selling), the Bahraini dinar Rs 392.65 (buying) and Rs 394.25 (selling), and the Omani rial Rs 384.60 (buying) and Rs 386.16 (selling).
The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that these rates may be revised at any time as required, and that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
