Fuel prices across India continue to remain steady, with no revision recorded since December 1, 2024. As of Tuesday, petrol and diesel rates have stayed unchanged for 11 straight months, providing price stability for vehicle owners.
The retail fuel prices in India are influenced by global crude oil rates, domestic taxation policies and currency exchange fluctuations. However, India’s petrol prices remain higher than several neighbouring nations, mainly due to elevated excise duties and state taxes.
