Dow futures extend losses to 420 points; Target cuts guidance


US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street are currently trading with losses, indicating a negative start to the trading day on Wednesday. In-line with analyst expectations, the dip that came on Wall Street during Tuesday’s trading session got bought into and the indices ended off the lows of the day. US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street are currently trading with losses, indicating a negative start to the trading day on Wednesday. In-line with analyst expectations, the dip that came on Wall Street during Tuesday’s trading session got bought into and the indices ended off the lows of the day. For now, the Dow futures are trading 420 points lower, while futures on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down 50 points and 180 points respectively. Bond markets are emerging as another cause for worry, with yield on the 10-year note climbing back to 4.52%. Oil prices have seen a surge as tensions rose between Iran and Israel following a CNN report, and all of this has led to an increase in gold prices as haven buying resumed. Elsewhere, bond yields in the UK have also risen after inflation came in higher than anticipated. Most indices in Europe are also trading below the flat line.
