Tech stocks, which had powered the market’s gains over the past six sessions, saw broad declines. The sector dropped 0.5%, with Nvidia falling 0.9%. Advanced Micro Devices, Meta Platforms, Apple, and Microsoft also closed lower. The S&P 500 snapped its six-day winning streak — the longest since a nine-day stretch earlier this month. Monday’s modest gains had added to a sharp rebound that’s played out over the past five weeks.
