Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets have largely remained volatile in today’s trading session. The Nifty 50 has been trading between the 25,520 and 25,255 levels. The Sensex, after making gains of over 200 points, is currently trading with a surplus of 80 points.

In addition, unlike last week, the broader markets have also suffered, with the Midcap and Smallcap indices trading with cuts.

The shares of Gabriel India surged by 20%, and the shares of Apollo Hospitals were also in focus amid a restructuring exercise.

The index, after snapping a four-day winning streak, appears to have regained some momentum. The shares of Asian Paints surged after a positive note by ICICI Securities.

After making major gains in the previous sessions, the Nifty PSU Bank index snapped a 5-day gaining streak.

Bajaj Auto announced its auto sales data for June, reporting underwhelming numbers. With the auto sales data in the pipeline, the auto stocks will be in focus.

Today is also the weekly expiry of the Sensex contracts, a day generally associated with volatility. Monday’s high of 25,662 and low of 25,474 will be key for the Nifty today. Any progress on the India-US trade talks can be an additional trigger.
