In response, the US equity futures, led by the Dow Jones, sank as much as 1,100 points, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq futures fell 3.5% and 4.5% respectively. Both the Sensex and Nifty 50, along with the broader markets, have been fairly resilient last week amidst the uncertainties and clawed back some of Tuesday’s sell-off on Wednesday. What makes this session even more important is that today is the weekly options expiry of the Nifty 50 contracts.
