US President Donald Trump once again took to Truth Social on Monday, targeting India’s buying of Russian oil and threatening to increase the tariff levels from the current 25%, even as he did not specify any number.

Trump had earlier threatened a 25% tariff plus penalties on India for doing business with Russia. Today will also be the first weekly expiry of the Sensex contracts for the August series, along with Day 2 of the RBI Monetary Policy Committee meeting.

Earnings reactions continue with pharma names like Aurobindo, SPARC, Sanofi, and OneSource reacting to results, alongside stocks like DLF, Delta Corp, Godfrey Phillips among others.

Nifty earnings return today with Bharti Airtel and Adani Ports, along with broader market names like Berger Paints, Lupin, Exide, Gujarat Gas, MTAR Tech, NCC, and Torrent Power. Despite the recovery, the 24,750 to 24,800 zone is key for the Nifty on the upside. Also watch out for IndusInd Bank as it appointed Rajiv Anand as its new MD & CEO.
