Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:  The earnings season is doing what it usually promises, moving the market with the balance sheet. After the heavyweights ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank’s performance yesterday, another bigwig, namely, Eternal (Zomato), is carrying the day’s trade.

The shares of Eternal have surged by 10%. The Nifty index, shedding its initial gains, is trading in red, just around the 25,120 mark. The Sensex is also trading with a rise of about 150 points. The Nifty Bank index has also crossed the 57,000 mark.

Apart from Eternal, its rival, Swiggy is also trading with major gains of 7%. MRPL and Info Edge, owing to their stakes in Eternal, are trading high.

As we move forward into the day’s trade, the focus now will also be on PNB Housing, DCM Shriram, among others, while Colgate-Palmolive, Paytm, Dixon Technologies, and KEI Industries are some stocks reporting results today.

25,000 on the downside remains the key support, while the 25,150 – 25,200 zone could continue to remain a barrier for the index. Watch this space for all the live updates.
