Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 23,668.65, while Sensex ended at 78,017.19.
Overnight, Wall Street indices ended higher. Asian stocks too were in the green in early trade today.
Nifty 50 and Sensex have gained for seven consecutive sessions. Foreign investors remained net buyers in the cash market, while domestic investors were net sellers.
US President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs continue to cause uncertainty among market participants. Whle on the one hand Trump may scale back some of the broader tariffs planned to be imposed on India, there are latest threats from him to impose 25% ‘secondary tariffs’ on countries such as Indi and China that import oil from Venezuela.
Manappuram Finance, BHEL, IREDA, Federal Bank, Infosys, IRFC, NTPC Green Energy, NCC, Waaree Energies, Indegene, Arvind SmartSpaces, HAL, Bajaj Finance, SIS, Siemens are among the stocks in focus today.
