
The real estate conference on the French Riviera is expected to welcome more than 20,000 delegates, including architect, developer, leading politicians, investors and sovereign wealth funds from over 90 countries. But what are those in attendance most hoping to learn, present, hustle and bring back home?
London mayor Sadiq Khan is heading a team from City Hall – the first time in his nine years as the capital’s mayor that he has attended the show.
According to the BBC, he is looking for an investment of £22 billio’ in 20 key projects, including at Liverpool Street, Waterloo, Euston and Victoria stations.
Several London boroughs have joined him on the southern France seafront.
The team behind Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium regeneration project are also there, including Old Trafford Regeneration Task Force chair Sebastian Coe.
