Gary Goldsmith, the uncle of Kate Middleton, said in his VT that the princess of “simply perfect”.

A sneak peek at the next episode of CBB has arrived, courtesy of ITV – and David Potts is letting Louis Walsh know his true feelings.

Going by the audience reaction during the live launch, this year’s favourites currently are: Nikita Kuzmin, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Marisha Wallace, Levi Roots, Bradley Riches and Fern Britton.

“In fairness to ITV, they’ve thrown all their creative energy into this moribund format, which, unfortunately, means that they’ve rather lazily plundered two reliable stars and part of the structure from another of their own shows,” writes Sean O’Grady. “Louis Walsh and Sharon Osborne have been enlisted to “judge” the other CBB housemates, watching them from a separate boudoir, as if they were on a voyeuristic version of The X Factor.”

Not everyone was a fan of last night’s CBB return.

One such person was writer Sean O’Grady, who argues that the reality show’s format is dated, and plundered a few old tropes and familiar faces from other shows – though not to much success.
