The awards ceremony, the most eagerly awaited date of the year for the property industry, will take place at lunchtime on October 25 in Belfast’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.
There are 19 categories in total, including Property Personality of the Year, a non-entry category with the winner selected by the judges.
The panel of industry experts is led by Dr Sharon McClements, a senior lecturer in built environment at Ulster University. Entries close at 12pm on September 13.
This year, the new category of Regeneration Project of the Year is open to a project of any size involving the redevelopment, repurposing or retrofitting of an existing building that delivers social, economic and environmental change.
Garret Kavanagh, director of Openreach in NI, said: “Openreach is delighted to once again partner with the Belfast Telegraph as headline sponsor of the Property Awards for 2024.
“The awards are a unique opportunity for those in the property industry to come together and celebrate their achievements across the year.
“With 18 different categories to enter, it really is a fantastic showcase of what the best companies here have to offer. And those recognised on the night can be rightfully proud.
“At Openreach we build and maintain the largest broadband network in NI and we are proud of the huge part we play in making NI the most digitally connected region in the UK.
“Our rapid build of Ultrafast full fibre broadband means that currently more than 87% of premises here can access the ultimate future-proofed broadband network, with plans announced to take that to 97% over the next few years.
“I’m especially delighted that the award categories showcase companies, like ourselves, who strive to deliver for their customers in an inclusive and sustainable way.”
Eoin Brannigan, editor-in-chief of the Belfast Telegraph and Sunday Life, said: “We are delighted to announce the date of the 2024 Belfast Telegraph Property Awards, which for the second year in a row will be sponsored by Openreach.
“I’d like to thank them and in particular Garret Kavanagh of Openreach for their continued support. We’re excited to add a new category this year, Regeneration Project of the Year, which will highlight the property world’s contribution to sustainability.”
