The travel experts praised the county for its coastline, with the “views and sense of peace attracting many retirees seeking a quiet life among gorgeous scenery and interesting wildlife”.

For those preferring “city living,” Norwich got a mention for its reasonably priced houses, standing at just over £301,274.

Although those searching for a low crime rate are advised to avoid Norwich as it has one of the highest crime rates in the county.
