Osborne King: Major Northern Ireland commercial property agency acquired by Savills Ireland

Osborne King has been acquired by Savills Ireland, in a move described as strengthening Savills’ position as the biggest property advisor on the island, with more than 450 employees.

The acquisition of Osborne King, described as a “respected and well-established” agency, adds 36 employees to Savills’ headcount.

Osborne King has handled many major property deals, and is currently advertising significant assets for sale such as Lindsay House, on sale for offers over £1.75m.

Savills Ireland said the deal “aligns with Savills broader growth strategy across Ireland, where it already has offices in Belfast, Cork, and Dublin”.

“Osborne King brings significant expertise in commercial leasing, sales, property management, and valuations, adding further depth to Savills service offering in Northern Ireland.”

As part of the acquisition, Osborne King’s staff will relocate to Savills Belfast office at Longbridge House, Waring Street, and will also rebrand as Savills.

The deal follows 2024’s sale of NI residential property agency Simon Brien to Irish firm Sherry Fitzgerald.

Ben Turtle, head of Savills Northern Ireland, said: “Osborne King has long been a respected name in the Northern Ireland property market, and their expertise aligns perfectly with our ambitions to continue delivering best-in-class property services across the region.
