Plans have been submitted for up to 50 homes on land off the High Street in Tetsworth, South Oxfordshire.
BSL Strategic has applied for outline planning permission for Wain Estates to develop a 3.93-hectare agricultural site in the village. The plans propose a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes.
The application to South Oxfordshire District Council follows the refusal of a 2016 application for 60 homes by BSL subsidiary Terra Strategic, which was lost on appeal in 2018, largely due to it being ‘significantly and demonstrably harmful to the character and appearance of the area’.
The new plan seeks to address all the reasons for the 2016 scheme’s refusal.
The team on the new project includes Tetlow King Planning, FPCR on architecture and SLR on transport.
