Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, has been trying to keep a low-profile since the past few weeks as the scandals surrounding her parents have been blowing up.
Beatrice and her sister Eugenie even skipped a prestigious event last weekend, just a day after Andrew announced that he was giving up his royal titles and honour after discussion with the royal family, to avoid media scrutiny.
Now, the 37-year-old, who welcomed her second daughter Athena earlier this month with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi,, is left by herself in UK along with their three-year-old daughter Sienna as the family turmoil continues to grow.
Edo, who is an English-born Italian nobleman and property developer, has to travel frequently for his job. Given that there is such immense scrutiny due to the disgrace of his father-in-law, the businessman left the UK for Malaysia to attend what appears to be a business matter.
On Wednesday, he shared a photo of a skyline, a view of Kuala Lumpur, showing the Exchange 106 tower in the Tun Razak Exchange district. The property developer did not add a caption to indicate the purpose or duration of this trip.
Beatrice and her husband were recently seen in London back-to-back nights last week as they attended the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Art of Wishes Gala at the Chancery Rosewood Hotel in Grosvenor Square
The next day they came to celebrate the hotel’s grand opening. During both appearances, the couple appeared in good spirits and seemed to be ignoring the chaos in the news about Andrew and Fergie.
The buzz around Andrew is still going strong with his accuser Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir dropping this week and even more damaging allegations being unearthed. This seems to be a time to stick together as the storm doesn’t look like it’s going to pass any time soon.
