Canada ranks second amongst the top destinations for homebuyers, with over 670K Google searches for ‘houses in Canada.’ Prospective buyers are drawn to the country’s natural beauty, excellent quality of life, and stable economy. Known for its welcoming attitude and proximity to the USA, it’s a favourite among those looking to relocate. However, with an average property value of £326,000 -104% higher than the average cost in Spain- Canada can be a pricier option.
The United Kingdom rounds up the top 3, with 577K Google searches. The country’s rich history, diverse culture, and renowned educational institutions attract many international buyers. The widespread use of English and the vibrant city life also contribute to its appeal as a property investment destination. Here, a two-bedroom flat averages £236,000, making it an attractive option for those looking to invest.
