
 
 
Calamos Investments was once again recognized by Forbes, earning a spot on the magazine’s prestigious list of America’s Top RIA Firms for 2025.
This marks the second time the firm, founded in 1977 by Greek-American John P. Calamos, Sr., has been included among the elite of the U.S. wealth management business.
Headquartered in Naperville, Illinois, Calamos Investments has offices in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Portland, and the Miami area.
Calamos Investments expands its portfolio
Under the leadership of President and Chief Executive Officer John Koudounis, the company’s assets have nearly doubled, and it has established itself as a leading liquid alternatives provider, the third largest in the United States.
Earlier in October, Koudounis, announced the launch of three Laddered Bitcoin Structured Alt Protection ETFs (CBOL 100% protection, CBXL 90% protection, CBTL 80% protection).
These launches represent a significant ETF industry milestone, expanding the firm’s award-winning structured protection strategies for bitcoin while introducing a new means of diversifying and strengthening investor portfolios.
It also launched the Calamos Aksia Hedged Strategies Fund (HEDGX), an interval fund that delivers access to a diversified selection of hedge fund managers in a single actively managed portfolio
HEDGX is the third interval fund launched under the AC Private Markets banner, combining the strengths of Calamos, a pioneer in liquid alternatives, and Aksia, a global leader in alternatives and private markets.
