SLR Capital Partners has named Scottie Bevill as a senior adviser.
Bevill most recently led global income strategies for the Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Illinois – a $65bn (£50bn) pension plan – as senior investment officer, overseeing all public and private markets debt and fixed income portfolios.

SLR, which specialises in direct lending to US middle market companies, said that Bevill will advise on strategic planning and growth initiatives in his new role, evaluating new investment strategies and leveraging his 30 years of experience in institutional investing.
