Odevo Taps CEO, COO for US Division


In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, an international property management firm elevated its leadership in Miami.

Nearly three years after expanding into the U.S., Swedish property management firm Odevo is promoting two leaders in its Miami-based brand KW Property Management & Consulting (KWPMC), according to a press release. The firm named Katalina Cruz as CEO of KWPMC and senior vice president of Odevo U.S., and promoted Jorge Lago to president and chief operating officer of KWPMC, the release shows. 

Odevo acquired KWPMC from founder Paul Kaplan in 2022, and named him CEO of Odevo U.S. last year. Kaplan also bought a waterfront Coral Gables home for $14.8 million last year. 

Also in Miami, Atlas Real Estate Partners hired Chase Guillory as assistant vice president of acquisitions, according to a press release. In his new role, Guillory will focus on sourcing, underwriting, structuring and executing new multifamily investment deals, the release shows. He was previously an associate with IMT Capital for three years, according to LinkedIn.

Powered by DMT brought in agents Mia Curson and Lala Nascimento, a press release shows. 

Powered by DMT, co-founded by Alyssa Soto Brody and Erica Sachse, focuses on real estate sales and marketing. It expanded into South Florida last year and had $68M in sales volume, according to a release. 

Curson was previously an agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, according to her Instagram. Nascimento was previously an agent with Compass in Miami for four years. She focuses on luxury homes in Sunny Isles Beach and Miami Beach, the release shows.
