The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest will host an online auction of U.S. Government property (including furniture, household appliances, IT equipment, household and kitchen items, and office supplies).
Photos of the items for auction can be viewed on the Embassy website (https://online-auction.state.gov) beginning Monday, March 18 at 06:00.
Bids can be submitted beginning Tuesday, March 19 at 08:00 through Thursday, March 21 at 08:00 on the Embassy website (https://online-auction.state.gov), by selecting “Bucharest RO”.
Offers must only be made in RON, and payments will only be accepted by depositing the winning bid amount in the following sweep account: RO49CITI0000000120055143.
The winners will be announced on the auction website. Winning bidders will have two (2) business days, Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22, to deposit the amount of their winning bid.
Winners must collect their items either on Monday April 01, Tuesday April 02, or Wednesday April 03 between the hours of 09:00 and 12:00 at the U.S. Embassy service entrance gate located at Dr. Liviu Librescu Blvd. no. 4-6, sector 1, Bucharest.
Auction winners must bring a Romanian Government-issued photo ID and only winning bidders will be able to take possession of the lots. Auction winners MUST make their own arrangements at their own expense to remove the items from U.S. Embassy property.
