‘Our employees are our greatest asset’: Fidelity Investments ranks No. 3 in Top Workplaces large category

At Fidelity Investments, employees take pride in helping customers achieve life’s biggest financial milestones.
That’s why Fidelity is this year’s No. 3 Top Workplace within the large company category, marking its eighth year as a winner.
Fidelity Investments, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, is one of the world’s largest financial services companies. It helps individuals, businesses and institutions manage their money and retirement plans through a wide range of investment and banking offerings.
The company has two New Mexico locations — a public-facing investor center and a regional office in Albuquerque. Notable benefits that Fidelity offers its 1,365 local employees include a generous 401(k) match, charitable giving match and a first-of-its-kind student loan assistance program.
In an Energage survey, New Mexico employees said they feel that they have a good work-life balance, find purpose in helping people reach their financial goals and are able to grow and advance within the company.
The following is an excerpt from an interview with Fidelity’s Senior Vice President Matt Tracy. It has been edited and condensed for clarity.
